I am using Nuntius Theme for my wordpress web site.

The blog page is the automatic ‘home page’. I have changed to a static home page under settings -> reading settings, that I created but when I do this, the static page and the blog page hade the same url.. I know how to add Blog to the menu but I don’t know how to point it to the actual blog page? What would be the url for the blog page when I have a static page as the opening page?

Also under settings -> reading settings, the blog page is not listed under posts.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.
    My temporary url is http://s98912242.onlinehome.us/
Right now I don’t have Blog in the menu.

  • Hi @melnechuk,

The first step to creating a separate blog page is to publish a blank page entitled “Blog” or similar. It’s this blank page that you will set as your site’s posts page via Settings > Reading.

    In summary, the steps are:

    • Publish two pages: One that you wish to use as you static front page and a separate blank page entitled “Blog.”
    • Navigate to Settings > Reading in your admin area.
    • Next to Front page displays, check the Front page displays option.
    • Choose your static front page from the Front page: dropdown menu and your blank “Blog” page from the Posts page: dropdown menu.

Your front page’s URL will be your site’s main URL.

As “Blog” is a completely separate page, it will have a completely separate URL to your front page after it’s been set up via the steps above.

Can you please try those steps again? Let me know if questions come up along the way.

    Thank you – that worked.

Perfect! We’re right here if extra questions come up too.
