I added an entry earlier today and someone was able to leave a comment( got it via email). When went to visit the blog later I got this message: === ==================== Error establishing a database connection! This probably means that the connection information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect. Double check it and try again. Are you sure you have the correct user/password? Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname? Are you sure that the database server is running? WordPress Support Forums ======================== === My site is hosted by [http://www.studentwebhosting.co.uk](http://www.studentwebhosting.co.uk) The rest of the site: [http://www.beginsathome.com](http://www.beginsathome.com) is working fine – just the blog is playing up I installed WordPress using Fantastico. Any ideas anyone? Send a support email to them. If you had WP working, and now it won’t, and now they say you don’t have a database, and you paid for one, shout at them. If you have any emails from when you setup, use copies to prove what you had. If I were you, I’d be making a huge noise at them, while also sorting hosting elsewhere. I shall go through all the emails from the host. WP was working fine one day and not the other. So I know I didn’t do anything. Are you saying this is their mess-up? My blog was relatively new – Sept 2004 but it was a day by day account of my volunteer experience in Belize. It was a big part of my life.
