    Hi!

Thanks for this very useful Plugin.
I just found out that there is no possibility for me to define “blog” as unblocked page.
I do have a static front page and the posts get to xxx.com/blog
But I get redirected to /register after I unset “blog”!! 🙂

It would be great if you could help me!

    Thanks!!

    Philipp

Hi Philipp, the plugin is not really meant for the blog post because that deals more with WordPress and and this was meant primarily for BuddyPress & bbPress. There are other plugins out there for this, but I will see what I can do and perhaps integrate it in a future update.

I am marking this as resolved because this request extends the functionality past its intended purpose. I will include it in a future update however!

Sorry to add to a thread marked resolved, but I just wanted to mention that I’m having the same problem, and this problem is a critical error for my site that will prevent me from using the plugin entirely. That’s a real shame because it seems to provide exactly the functionality I need otherwise. The difficulty is that the blog page (the special WP page that displays posts) MUST be accessible to users who aren’t logged in (i.e. unblocked) on my site.

Thanks so much for your work on this plugin. I hope that you can add this functionality soon. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information to assist you.

Update to 3.5 this should take care of you!

I am running 3.7, and whatever I do I can’t seem to unlock the posts page … am I missing a trick?

You might want to try the workarounds listed in this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-pages-unblocked-bp-bbpress-blocked
