Blog site not working

    Hi! I am extremely new to wordpress… I am attempting to run a blog: http://www.purgethepocketgod.com and I feel like I have done everything I need to to get it up and running. I have my domain hosted and registered at dreamhost, have uploaded my template for my blog to wordpress (and it says it is the one I am using), when I write a new blog (as a test) and click to preview it, it looks great, but when I just go to http://www.purgethepocketgod.com, I get this message: “Site Temporarily Unavailable
    We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact the webmaster/ tech support immediately to have them rectify this.
    error id: “bad_httpd_conf””

    I am wondering if this has something to do with FTP…?

    Can someone please help me… I have spent hours trying to figure this out and I can’t seem to get anywhere! grrrrrrr…

    It is common when you first setup a domain in dreamhost that sometimes it may say error id: "bad_httpd_conf". If it keeps doing it you can submit a ticket to dreamhost. This error message is somewhat unique to their system. It may take a few hours for all the DNS information to filter through the internet. Its working for me.

    That is the strangest thing. Maybe I need to reboot my computer. I’ll let you know if I need more help. Thank so much!
