Blog Posts Stopped Posting In Blog Page

This is a little tough to explain.

I’ve been moving a Dreamweaver site which is fairly small to WP because it is simply a better format. I have static pages and posts and use a couple of sidebar widget to show a few static pages, the most recent blog posts and an archive with a drop down box.

So far everything has worked very well and I have 13 sites using the same theme which I change colors and headers but once again my experience is very good in WP and especially with the theme.

Here goes:

I copy and paste some older posts for DW to WP and edit the date to match the original dates of the posting to keep it accurate.

Thus far all posts have gone to the Blog Page in ascending date order with a brief article summary and it looked great.

I’m on the 20th post, publish it, ensure the date is what I want and the post appears in the current posts widget just fine. However, it’s not appearing on the Blog Page.

I’ve check my settings to see if I must change a parameter to ensure all posts go to the Blog Page. The Blog page which contains posts allows 5 posts per page and has a “paging” link at the bottom to see the next oldest blog posts.

Sorry for so much wording. I must be missing something and it’s going by me. If any one has an idea that may correct this I would appreciate your assistance.
