Blog posts getting 'listed' on mobile

Android. Galaxy Note 3. This is a lovely theme, just installed but the blog page is defaulting to a list when phone held vertically – can’t see why it needs to do this – click on any blog and it opens fine vertically and opens fully when phone held horizontally. The list is really unaesthetic when you click on blog page from a mobile phone.
