  • Hi @risticv6! It looks like this might be caused by a plugin, possibly the AddThis plugin. Could you try disabling plugins and seeing if that fixes the problem?

    Hey risticv6

It seems due to Add This Plugin, kindly disable it once and see it the unwanted div goes away.

You can also approach the plugin support team and they will assist you on this.

    Thanks.

If you need to use the Add This plugin, you may be able to get around the problem by creating manual excerpts for your blog posts instead of letting the theme create your excerpts for you. I say “may,” because it depends on how your theme handles manual excerpts.

To create a manual excerpt, go into the post editor, and at the right sidebar, make sure Document is selected. Towards the bottom of the right sidebar should be a section labeled Excerpt. Expand that section, and copy into that field however many lines of your blog post that you want to appear as your excerpt. It doesn’t even have to be an exact copy, you can add whatever content you want as your excerpt, i.e., it could be totally different than the beginning of your post, like a post summary. Save the post and see if the DIVs go away.
