Had a problem with my Comments table in the database that caused all comments to disappear. Repaired the table from the DB admin interface and now the comments are appearing BUT the message at the top of each blog post says “No Comment”
Lots of comments at the bottom but “No Comment” at the top.
I fixed one post by manually adding a comment – which I figured would have WP properly update the comment counter. It worked, but I can’t do this manually for hundreds of posts.
Is there any automated way to fix this problem? i.e. to have the comment count reflect the right number of comments?
