Blog post by email blank in 2.5 (too)

  • When you use the built in blog by email function – WP truncates the actual message and only posts the title of the article. The remaining article is deleted.

This problem is discussed in some detail here:

It seems to be in the next round of upgrades – but is still present in 2.5.

  • I haven’t had time to research this further, but when I submit post via gmail I only get the subject, when I submit through an earthlink account it works fine. The only thing I still cannot get to work is the automated browser activation using the “iframe” code in footer.php.

In Outlook the subject goes in both the subject line and the message, but the message has odd characters in it.

From gmail I’m experiencing only the subject no message body.

    Lastly, no auto publish.

I can’t wait for this feature to be fixed, I’ve even tried Postmaster and the other common one (can’t think of it right now).

I have auto email posting working completely now… I think.
