    Hello

Im using the custom static page, But i would like to have a button in the navigation leading to my recent blogpost like in the Bota live demo. I’m not that experienced with wp or coding, maybe someone can elaborate how to set this up? thank you!

  • Hi theaker,

Just to make sure I understand you correctly: would you like to have a menu item in the navigation that goes to your posts listing page? The Bota demo has a navigation item called Blog that does just this. Is this what you’d like to have?

    Yes indeed!

I tried a vew things but non seem to do what is shown in the demo, I doubt it is very hard, i just don’t know exactly how to set it up.

First, create a page (Pages > Add New) and call it Blog (or what you like for your blog page). Don’t add any text and save.

Next, you need to go to Settings > Reading. In the Front Page Displays section choose A Static Page. Then in the dropdown for Front Page select your static page and in the dropdown for Posts page choose your Blog page.

Finally, go to the Menu (Appearance > Menus) and add the Blog page to it.

    This should do it 🙂

    Thank you very much!

    You’re very welcome!
