So, here’s an odd, one, maybe someone else out there has had this happen.

My front page is static and is set in the admin as ‘home page’ the actual page for the blog is set to use the template ‘blogging’

When i go to change the options in reading, ‘blogging’ does not appear. instead, an old template, that i trashed called ‘blog’ still appears.

So i can not change the reading options to the ‘blogging’ template, and hence WP gets confused and bounces the blog page over to the ‘index’ page.

which puts me in a pickle because anything i have that is contextual in the sidebar, does not show, because it registers this page as ‘home’ and/or something other than ‘blogging’

Suggestions? cacheing error? bug? able to change it in the database?

    Thanks

    Nadine
