Blog Page Error

    Hi,

    Since the last update (can’t recall if it was the Storefront or the WordPress update), the Blog page has a few issues:

    1. White gap showing the top
    2. Sidebar content not showing
    3. Error showing at the bottom of the page: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_posts_pagination() in /home/sawacomas/public_html/new/wp-content/themes/storefront/inc/structure/post.php on line 121”

    Have tried replacing post.php with fresh version but no luck.

    Hey,

    the_posts_pagination() is a function that was added in WordPress 4.1. If you’re using a version older than that you’ll need to update.

    Hi,

    Thanks! Glad I asked this question as I have just noticed something else. When looking to check for the WP version, it says in the bottom right corner it’s 4.0 and WordPress admin is not telling me to update nor is Wordfence saying I need to update, so I can’t update via the admin. Not sure why this is? Should I just do a manual update?

    I’d ask your host to see if they’re aware of any issues that might cause this. Failing that, yes, you’ll just have to update manually.
