We’ve created our girst post under the coloway theme. However, on the homepage when we click the blog post title and/or the continue reading button, the links take us to a “Not Found” page even though the correct URL is in the website URL bar.

How do we fix this?

Separate question we might as well ask while we’re here: is there a way to get the slider to just show one picture, as opposed to two? We don’t want it to slide to anything else, we just want one main photo. Thanks in advance for your help with both of these issues.

Regarding your first issue, we have replied you at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/link-urls-wont-work?replies=1 thread link.

Related to the second issue i.e. slider to show one picture, to resolve this is very simple, you just have to upload only one slider image in your dashboard.
(Appearance=>Theme Option=> Home Page Slider)
