I’ve searched … and searched … and searched. How do you get the little images/icons to appear beside your blog in subscription lists. Example … the feed from BBC has a very small icon BBC that appears as a black bar with white letters. This appears as an icon beside the listing in a news reader (such as bloglines) … not in comments or posts. This is not an avatar or gravitar and is not nearly as large as 80 x 80px. I can find no documentation on this. If you do not include an icon, your blog has a little grey box in bloglines (which is plain and unattractive).

    Thanks.

Hi Norwat, I’m having the same problem… an ugly grey square next to my feed in Bloglines and I don’t know how to fix it. I do have a favicon .ico file uploaded in the root directory of my server and it shows up in most browsers. It shows that you’ve resolved the problem… is it a little string of code or a plug-in? The favicon manager plug-in didn’t resolve this issue for me. I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks, fcolut 🙂
