• I’ve read countless posts on similar issues here but have not found anything that exactly addresses my issue. I’m going to define the problem and propose a solution which I’m not sure about. Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

The Problem: My blog homepage is missing. All other posts, category, and tag links are fine.
    Blog home: webartisan.biz/resources/
    Example post link: http://webartisan.biz/start-coding-with-wireframes-and-pattern-libraries/
    Example Category link: http://webartisan.biz/category/resources/web-writing/

Everything was fine through mid or late February which was the last I checked the blog homepage. The only thing that has changed on the website are the WordPress automatic updates. The webhost ran a file history check and no other files were hacked or otherwise updated. Plugins had not been updated so I updated those but that had no effect.

Proposed solution: I think there’s a chance the following idea may work but I don’t want to break the entire site in the process so let me know what you think. My thought is to create a new page, make sure it appears, then designate that as the posts (home)page under settings > reading. My fear is that it may break all of my permalinks. Or, it might work.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
