Blog Filter Plugin Doesn’t work on my site

I added the Blog Filter Plugin to my test website. I use the Astra theme with Beaver Builder. I set up the plugin and added the shortcode to my page. The filter labels appear, but the posts do not appear on the page. I just get the “spinning wheel.”

Please advise. I would like to get the premium plugin, but want to make sure the plugin works on my site first.
