Blog Entry – Display full post on separate page

I really like this theme, but I can’t seem to wrap my head around the blog part of it.

Here are a couple of problems that I am having:

1. When I click on an individual blog entry, I am directed to the blog page with all the entires as opposed to a unique page for each blog entry. It is possible to have the display so that there are two larger excerpts and then you click on the title to read the blog post in full?

2. Currently I have one column after the ‘full posts’ but they are left-justified. Is there a way to center these or have multiple columns? (At some point I did have two columns but I’m not sure what I did to change this).
