I changed the link to my blog and wordpress admin from deconge.com to deconge.com/blog. I didn’t know it would be a problem…how do I get my blog to reappear?

I am having the same problem but after uploading the functions.php file to the site I receive this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/mbeyst/public_html/wordpress-2.8/wordpress/wp-content/themes/default/functions.php on line 42

Does somebody know what should I do??
