Blog defaults to an old post

  • What the heck!? My blog defaults to a several-months-old post instead of the most recent. I even changed the post status of the old post to “pending”. Reading Setting is “latest post”. A new post is published every Monday but visitors only see the post from back in August. Post is not set as “sticky”. Original published date is August 9, 2010.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

  • I’ve checked using Mac: Opera, Firefox, and Safari, as well as the IE Net Renderer to check the Microsoft browsers. They all proivide the same result.
Strange thing is . . . my iPhone shows the proper, current post!

Are you using a Redirection plugin? You might want to take a look in there and see if there’s any record of that post that can be deleted.

Alx – thanks for your response. No redirection exists.
