I’ve set up a beautiful system at my work.
The fax machine saves incoming faxes as PDF files rather than printing them. The fax machine then e-mails the PDF to an e-mail address.
I want to have WordPress recieve those e-mails and put the faxes online as posts with the PDF attachment.
Out of office people can go to the website’s “incoming faxes” category and read the faxes that were sent into the office from anywhere.
Thing is… when wordpress recieves the e-mail it includes a bunch of extraneous junk and prints out the PDF file as if it were text. I end up with an enourmous post full of garbage or the server times out while running the cron job.
I really need to get this going. This may be the thing that gets me a raise at work. Help.
