    Hi,

I have blog for my website but it looks bad. I want to completely change the look of it.

What is important – I have some good position on Google for posts. I don’t want to lose it. It’s crucial.

New template has different plugins, layout creator, style.css, everything. Should it be on new wordpres? If yes, how to connect this with my website? Any plugins or maybe better solution?

    Many thanks for any advice.

The theme only changes how your content looks, so it should not change your SERP stuff.

    Steve,

thank you for reply. I agree with you but I don’t want to change template on my website. Is it possible to have two themes on one wordpress?

    website.com – old template
    blog.website.com – new template.

This is why I asked about two installations. 🙂

if those are two different WP instances, of course you can have two themes.
