    I have been trying to work this one out myself but havent been able to find
   a suitable answer. Hope you can help.
 * I have a wordpress site, purchased a theme and have set it up. The site is under
   my own domain. Recently I decided to start blogging from it.
 * My question is, will the blog pages within the theme still get picked up in the
   usual way by search engines? Or would it be better for me to link a blog page
   to the site?

 * So you had a site that wasn’t in WordPress, and now you instaled WordPress on
   your domain?
    If that is the case, than the answer is yes, search engines will
   index your site.
