Hi @rubenc7,
Thank you for getting in touch – we have instructions on how to setup the plugin to work with page builders (such as Elementor) here: https://www.verdant.studio/documentation/super-advent-calendar/getting-started/page-builders/
Have you followed these steps?
Hi, when I put the shortcode in, it says “The advent calendar content is empty”
Does the ID in your shortcode refer to the post which has the Gutenberg block on it?
The quotes seem off in your shortcode: [super-advent-calendar id=”72095″]
could you try with: [super-advent-calendar id="72095"]
but perhaps this is done by WordPress.org when you post a message.
Just to make sure: post.php?post=72095&action=edit is your Gutenberg powered page and for example: post.php?post=300&action=edit is your Elementor powered page where you use the shortcode, correct?
They’re both the same number. When I click add new page then edit with elementor – https://elwood-recruitment.co.uk/?page_id=72095&preview=true
Is there something I’m missing?
Because this plugin is a Gutenberg-first plugin you’ll need to create 1 page in Gutenberg containing the calendar and then another (completely different page) with Elementor, in the Elementor page you can then use the shortcode to load the Gutenberg block. In the documentation: https://www.verdant.studio/documentation/super-advent-calendar/getting-started/page-builders/
You can see two different pages one with ID 724 (Gutenberg) and another with 861 (Elementor).
