Support » Plugin: Wicked Folders » Blocks any plugins that add items to sidebar

Hello, I am experiencing a major problem with this plugin… with it enabled, I can’t access any of my custom fields on the media sidebar. I have added a couple of fields with CPT, and I use a plugin to customize the crops of images. I can’t click any of them, it just acts as if there’s nothing to click. I can use tab to go into the fields, but there is a new plugin that needs me to click to set a crop point – “My Eyes Are Up Here”. And it won’t register clicks to set the crop point. Interestingly, I can use tab to get to the text fields and type in them but can’t click on them to select it.

Screenshot. Everything below “Copy Link” I can’t click on.

When I disable the plugin, everything works as expected. Thanks for the great plugin and hope this issue can be fixed soon.

    Hi @darknights,

I apologize for not responding to this sooner; for some reason I never received an email notification for this and didn’t see it until just now when I was checking the page.

Can you let me know what plugin you’re using for customizing the crop of the images so I can test it out and see if I can reproduce the problem?

Also, just to confirm, you’re using the latest version of Wicked Folders, correct?

    Hi @darknights,

I’m going to go ahead and mark this as resolved as I believe the issue you’re describing may have actually been fixed in a recent version.

If that’s not the case and you’re still having trouble, feel free to re-open the issue.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you, I was traveling this week and just got home. The plugin is “My Eyes Are Up Here” but WP Smartcrop also has the issue, and when I add custom fields to media files using Advanced Custom Fields it also has the issue. SO it is three plugins’ custom fields that I cannot click on when Wicked Folders is enabled.

Oddly, it only happens when I am setting a featured image – if I go to the media browser, it lets me use these custom features fine. But when I disable Wicked Folders I can access all these fields fine.

I tested this on my other site and it worked fine so I don’t know what is causing the conflict. Let me know if you want login info to my site so you can diagnose the issue. Thanks.
