I could use some help, please.
I am trying to use a blockquote image. I got that figured out. However, I run into a problem when my quoted line is really short, only a few words. My image is taller than one line, and so it cuts off the bottom of my image if the quote is too short to spill onto a second line.
I’ve tried adjusting margins and padding, but it doesn’t address this problem. I tried to cheat and just add extra breaks inside the blockquotes, but that didn’t work either.
This is my current blockquote:
margin: 15px 30px 0 45px;
padding: 0 0 0 45px;
background: url(‘blockquote.gif’) no-repeat left top;
The closest I’ve found to an answer is adding a bottom border. But this puts a line under it, which I don’t want. I did search the forums and online and read the tutorials, but cannot find anything that addresses this problem.
