# Blocking specific page

 * I have a publishing website where I just need one page that’s membership protected.
 * Do I really have to set the default to block all pages and then make an exception
   for every page except the one page I need to protect? This seems very backward
   to me.

 * no, set default to unblocked, then edit the 1 page (or post) you want blocked,
   and set
    Page Restriction/Status: to Blocked
