In the last few days, bots have been bypassing the captcha on my checkout page and I’m not sure what to do? Any help would be appreciated. They place many orders per minute flooding my email server. I would put that product offline but they the just to another product. Can WF free version help out here?
    Thx!

    Hi @kosmikkreeper,

Wordfence is designed for defense in depth, so we support the idea that our features can work well with other protection methods such as server firewalls. The plugin could certainly assist if you’re getting an excessive amount of these requests due to its Brute Force and Rate Limiting settings.

As ecommerce isn’t a default function of WordPress, and added by WooCommerce, we don’t check for carding attacks or extend our reCAPTCHA beyond the login/registration pages at this time. There are add-ons for WooCommerce I’ve seen such as Anti-Fraud for WooCommerce (and there are likely others both paid and free) that have advanced blocking features and other functionality that focus on the payment/order side. We don’t partner with or endorse any external plugin/solution, I just wanted to provide an example. I’m sure the wider community may have other recommendations too.

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
