    Hi!

I’m trying to block several “bad” web crawlers that seem to cause high server load.

Is there any pattern to use for blocking multiple user agents under “Blocking / Advanced Blocking”, in the field “User-Agent (browser) that matches”?

Using a separate rule for each user agent works fine, but since there are several bots that I need to block, it would be quite handy if there is a pattern that I’m not aware of.

    Thanks!

    Hi dimnks,
Currently there is no option to block multiple “User-Agents” from “Advanced Blocking” tab at the same time, you will have to block them one by one, also you can view the “Live Traffic” log and block these bots from there by clicking on “Block this IP”. (hint: you can use “Advanced Filters” on the Live Traffic log page to show all the crawlers visited your website in certain time frame).

    Thanks.
