  • Hi @catsman,

You may need to whitelist your form, can you let me know what plugin you are using to allow users to send messages to each other?

In the meantime, you can check Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic, to see why the form is getting blocked.

Wpjobster script people are logged in so does not make sense it blocks them

    Hi again,

I’ve just looked at Wpjobster and I think I found a way to whitelist users sending messages to each other.

    Please follow the steps:

    1. Go to Wordfence -> All Options -> Whitelisted URLs
    2. Enter /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php for URL
    3. Select Param Type: POST Body for the dropdown
    4. Type message for Param Name
    5. Click Add
    6. Remember to click on Save Changes in the top-right corner

    For example: https://i.imgur.com/c9NUS1b.png

If it’s still not working, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic
    2. Filter Traffic by Blocked By Firewall
    3. Click on one of the blocked rows

It should show why the user was blocked, please take a screenshot of it and link it in your comment.

thank you kindly, i will try that when i have a bit more time, just have no idea how to test it before that one of my members/customers will get the problem

Ah, you should be able to login as one of your customers and send a test message to another account.

To answer your previous question Wpjobster script people are logged in so does not make sense it blocks them:

The firewall scans everything, even for traffic from logged in users. This is to prevent XSS attacks that will target logged in users.

1 good thing 1 bad thing

the good thing is it worked, however it takes a long time before he finally submits the message, i can not have that took around 7-10 seconds, when i disabled wordfence, message was submitted in 1 seconds as it should be, it clearly slows down the site and my experience is people get annoyed by waiting and specially when they just want to send a message or update their order
