 * Hi,
 * How long are your blocks set? The default is 5 minutes. So after 5 minutes the
   block will be removed. Have you tried blocking the IP permanently?

 * Thanks for that, I have tried all sorts of way over the last few weeks.
 * Also now trying IP Country Blocker to see if this helps.

 * [@rik0399](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rik0399/):
 * If the IP appears in the blocked IPs list and still shows up in login attempts,
   there may be a conflict with another plugin that is stopping blocking from working
   correctly. If you have other plugins that affect the login process, you could
   try disabling them temporarily, if possible.
 * If the IP doesn’t appear in the blocked IP list when you try to add it, there
   may be a problem with the database tables. The easiest way to fix it in that
   case is to turn on “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation”, uninstall
   Wordfence, and then reinstall it. You will have to set your Wordfence options
   again, if you do, since this would be a clean installation.
 * (You can keep your options and previous blocked IPs by exporting your settings
   before uninstalling, using the button at the bottom of the page and saving the
   token it gives you, then importing the options afterward, but if there is a problem
   with your database, it may not work correctly.)
