Block/exclude posts from being related?

    Is it possible to exclude posts from being selected as related? Perhaps via category, date, or another filter mechanism.

    I am working on a site with a lot of older less important content. We would like to prevent these posts from being included in the related lists, so that only the newer better content is promoted.

    Thank you for your inquiry and I apologize for the delayed response. If you are still searching for a solution to limiting posts to more recent content, please follow the instructions below:

    From the settings tab on the left hand column of your WP blog, select ‘Related Posts by Sovrn’. Once on the settings page, scroll down to ‘Basic Settings’. There you will find a setting: ‘Only show posts from the last _____ months’. You will see drop down there where you can select from the following: Unlimited, 1, 3, or 12 months. Don’t forget to hit ‘Save’ when you are finished.
