I have posted about this same issue over a year ago, but at the time I had an image on my site that had the f-word in it.

Since then, I’ve cleaned up a lot of my content and etc. However, my website is still being blocked a lot for other people when they try to access it from work or school. It’s also being listed as adult content, or pornography.

    My website is

How can I stop this from happening? Is there a way I can test this myself to view what content they’re blocking?

    I’m afraid this isn’t a WordPress issue.

The solution will depend on what software is being used by schools, workplaces, etc. to block your site. You should find out that information first, and then contact those software vendors for support regarding unblocking.

Do anyone know of a WordPress plugin that can implement better keywords, meta tags and etc so it can be picked up by Google? Thanks.

Once your domain has been added to these lists, you will find it quite difficult to get it removed…advise:

If you want to reach a general audience, do not post profanity or adult content (or any links to sites with such content)…

I would also think many block by keywords and domain names also…

And, isn’t Chanel a registered tradmark?

Get a new domain name and ip and start over.

As for meta tags, just add them to header.php

I have about 5% of profanity/adult content on my site and that’s because I may have blogged about a particular subject matter or two. The people who have told me about the block are able to access sites with obscene profanity, even with profanity in the url. My website OS mainly love, life and web design.

Chanel is my legal name. Can’t get sued for what’s on my birth certificate. So changing my domain name is out of the question.

Marking it as resolved. Getting nowhere on this forum with this inquiry.

You are welcome! Happy New Year, too!

No need to be a smart ass.

My goodness, I was being genuinely nice…more adice: If you want help, be nice!

Don’t play innocent. You were being sarcastic & condescending because:
    A) I never said thank you for you to say you’re welcome.
    B) nor did I say Happy New Year for to say “too”.

I am a bit frustrated (obviously, because that’s why people post for help here) and the last thing I needed were back-handed advice like change my domain and start all over again or implying that I am stealing a trademark brand. I’ve had my domain for over 8 years. I’m not a rookie.

Ps: I am being nice because I have yet to disrespect you, which can be easily done.

Next time, don’t play victim. I have nothing further to say.

Do anyone know of a WordPress plugin that can implement better keywords, meta tags and etc so it can be picked up by Google? Thanks.

An SEO plug-in like WordPress SEO by Yoast or All in One SEO Pack. Here are some general SEO resources that will help with keyword research, etc. If you have further questions about SEO & WordPress, please start another thread – thanks.

That actually works PERFECTLY Zoonini. Thank you so much for the suggestion! I really needed a plugin because whenever I manually add the meta tags and etc directly into the header.php, I always forget to re-add it once I change the theme, and then I don’t realize it until it’s too late. Thanks again!

I would ask for the mods to remove this whole thread as:

A:) It is clearly just a plug for a plugin.

    B) It is condescending to a member who has been more than helpful.

C:) A or B has pushed it up in rank on search.

D:) Automation is wonderful, but this whole thread is not about the latter replies.
