Blocked from posting/editing

    My WP is self-hosted. While writing a draft post, I was interrupted. Upon return to my draft, further editing and posting was blocked. The error message states, “The requested URL was rejected. If you think this is an error, please contact the webmaster.” A support ID number is also provided. How to correct?

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Tara, Thank you. PROBLEM SOLVED. The problem resided in the plugin Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Will address deleting and reinstalling the plugin later.
