    Hi, after a few weeks from the last change on the site, I decided to change the background color of the topbar but it was not possible because the “Publish” button is locked on “Published”. What happened? Thanks

    Hey,
    Are you able to make other changes? Is this happening in Theme Options? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Hi Hannah,
    the “Theme Options” section is gone from the last modification about 2 months ago. I cleared the cache completely but the problem remains. In practice I can’t make changes in the theme, but I just checked that this block doesn’t just happen with Ascend but also with eg Twenty Nineteen, the principal WordPress plugin … really I don’t understand!

    Do you have the Kadence Toolkit plugin installed and activated? That could be why your theme options are missing.
    As for not being able to make updates, I would suggest contacting your host. It could be that your php memory needs to be increased.

    Hi Hannah,
    thank you very very much! The problem is solved…evidently by mistake I had deactivated the Kadence Toolkit plugin. Now it seems all ok!
