There is also a proposal here. Make HEX format first by default. Most developers use it to set colors. And so, not only for each column you need to set a color, but also in the HEX format you have to click switch several times each time

I also noticed this feature. If you set one column to a different color on a chart, save the changes and return the color, then you can no longer set one color for the entire chart.
Continuing the problem with colors. If you are creating a new graph and there are already several columns there. I rename them as I need and add more columns. I set the general color of the columns and it applies only to the columns I created.

After that, I manually set the color for the columns that were originally in the template and saved it. After that, the columns in the manually specified color became the color that I set, and the columns for which the general color was set returned to the original color.
Next I removed all the columns on a new chart. I added the number of columns I needed and set the overall color. After saving, the general color only works on the first five columns.
