  • Hi when I activate this plug in to block access it blocks my IP, i have checked both project honeypot and spamcop and my ip is not listed on either site list

  • even with the lists not active I get blocked I had to deactivate the plugin

    Me too, I`m getting block a lot. Is there a way to fix that? Thank you!

    Add your IP to the whitelist before you turn anything on. Then you won’t get blocked.

    yes but the question is why we getting blocked, my IP is not in any block list so should not be blocked and if its blocking mine it could be blocking many of my visitors

    I don’t know why you are getting blocked. Go look in your database for your ip address and see what the block level is.

    I think I know what the problem is. Does your device use an IP v6 address? I wasn’t handling them correctly so when one got blocked they all got blocked. I released a temporary patch in version 3.2.3 that will allow IP v6 addresses through. I am working on a permanent fix that will handle IP v6 addresses correctly and should have it released some time this week.

    I’ve released version 4.0.2. This version supports IPv6 addresses.
