Blockchain.info outage

    Hi All,

    I wanted to be pro-active and reach out to my users who may be seeing an “Error retreiving widget data”.

    This is being caused by a temporary outage at blockchain.info, who provides the live data feed used to power this widget.

    All services should be restored within a few hours and the widgets will return to normal functioning at that time.

    For accuracy purposes, the plugin does not currently persist the last known value. I’m willing to take a vote on changing this behavior to account for incidents such as this. Any interest?

    News from blockchain.info is that they will be fully back online and operational within the next 48-72 hours.

    I am seeing that their API is already back online and operational which means that users of this plugin should now have their issues resolved. However, I would expect some brief outages over the next couple of days as they recover from the outage.
