[resolved] Block Semalt.com from Jetpack stats (4 posts)

Add me to one of many getting annoyed with having semalt.com show up as a referrer in my jetpack stats.

I notice that WordPress.com has the ability for a spam filter for stats. Will this be coming to WordPress.org soon?

I saw this link for editing the htacessfile but I always get nervous editing the file. Would love to have the ability of using a filter to block this suspicious site.

Yes, we are hoping to implement the spam referrer flag in Jetpack stats eventually, once we get some kinks workd out. Meanwhile, note that the flag available on WordPress.com is only to indicate a Referrer as spam and removing it from the list of reerrers; it doesn't actually block that referrer from visiting the site.
