# Block posts by default

 * What does this mean? i thought that it would block posts (make them available
   only to members) … why is it not working?

 * Not sure what you mean by “not working”
 * Just to manage expectations here, the plugin blocks content, not post titles,
   etc; the intention being to allow teaser content to encourage registration.
 * This relies on using the ‘more’ tag in content or the autoexcerpt feature so 
   that post content has an excerpt – otherwise full post content will show on summary
   pages such as archives or categories.
 * I would recommend going through the [Quick Start Guide](http://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/quick-start-guide/)
   to get you started.
