Block image preview

Well that’s an interesting suggestion, It looks like ACF already documented something about that here: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/acf_register_block_type/ in the “Adding block previews 🌄” section.

One of the forum user “phip” also posted an interesting use case here: https://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/register-block-preview-image-with-acf_register_block_type/.

The ACF Block Type Preview is more complex than just “displaying an image”, it allow developers to actually pass “demo” data to correctly fill the Block Type output. But I guess I could add some sort of “bypass” from the UI, so the user would be able to simply upload & set an image.

I’m quite busy working on ACF Extended’s future right now tho, so I can’t give you any ETA unfortunately. If you find something useful in the meantime, just let me know!
