  • Yes, there is a TLD option that you can put in .RU, etc.

Keith, I put in 163.com into the TLD option but they still are able to register. Its not an emergency but the forum software is allowing them to create groups and I have to go in and delete them after the fact.
They know when I’m sleeping because they register and create groups at 3AM EST. Then by 8-9AM I get in there and delete them and their group.

I have blocked and marked each user as spam/blocked. I haven’t deleted any of them so far and was wondering if I should load these IP addresses somewhere? Or should I just delete them. The forum is new and has 50 folks registered of which 14 are or were spammers. The biggest offenders are from 163.com and .RU.

I assume since I use Jetpack it still may be allowing them to get through. I have the option checked for throwaway accounts but Yahoo and hotmail are all allowed still.
I Still think Hotmail and yahoo are ok but don’t want to block gmail or other “big” email providers. (I use gmail as well as most others)

My site is http://www.autumnadvice.com/ running weaver extreme and BBPress.

Please download the latest version from blogseye.com and install it.

There was a bug that allowed a few servers in the 173.xx.xx.xx to be white listed incorrectly.

If you install the current version and clear your cache then these guys probably won’t make it through.
