# Block Editor

 * Does query monitor work with the Gutenberg block editor? Some things are loading
   slow and I’m trying to figure out what they are but when I load up the editor
   I don’t see query monitor at the top.

 * It does work but it probably won’t show you the data you need to see.
    - You need to first open the options menu in the block editor and switch off
      the full screen mode so the admin toolbar appears
    - The information QM then shows you only relates to the initial page load; most
      of the content for the block editor loads in via Ajax requests to the REST
      API and QM doesn’t show you that information currently
 * In a future version QM will support showing profiling data for Ajax requests,
   but there’s no ETA for that at the moment.
