• Hello,

I was recently messing around with the custom css settings on my site http://www.visionatseaphotography.com and went to refresh the page and everything was blank. I can’t access my wp admin login at all, it is a blankpage, and my website appears blank as well. I have tried deleting and re-installing wordpress but it has not worked. I am unable to rename the plugins folder and I have tried deleting the plugins folder all together but it did not help at all. It is extremely frustrating because I am not that great of a technical genius, so I am sure there are alternative ways to approach the problem.

    Thanks

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

@esmi, using FTP I am unable to change the name of the folder. It allows me to click on the file name under properties, however, whenever I try and delete or add text to the pre-existing title, nothing happens.

I’m afraid you will need to speak to your hosts about this. You should be able to rename this folder without any problems.

@esmi all right. I appreciate the attempted help. Cheers
