Blank screen in dashboard (but not in the website) after saving/posting/editing

    Hi. So title says it all. Recently getting blank white page after every saving of a configuration of a plugin, theme, or WP options. It shows up also after editing/posting , etc.
    The changes are implemented , but I still get the blank page and have to go back and refresh everytime to make sure the changes are saved.

    I checked my theme, there is no blank line in the top of header.php. (in fact my header.php doesnt start with <?php but with

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-/….
    etc

    Disabled W3 Total cache, but did not help.

    What could it be ?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thanx Esmi.
    I deactivated all plugins, did not help
    reset the plugin folder according to that codex tutorial, didnt help
    deleted wp-admin and wp-includes and uploaded fresh copies of the latest version, did not help.

    But again the site is working fine, the problem occurs in the dashboard only, upon saving template files, activatint/deactivating plugins, and virtually changing any settings.

    Did you switch to the Twenty Eleven theme?

    Yes. I activated Twenty eleven, and when it was active I entered the template editor, just hit “save” and the white blank page again appeared.

    Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
