    I just upgraded the events calendar towards version 3.10 but now i get a blank screen (frontend and backend).

    After disabling the plugin (by renaming the directory), my website works.
    Looking a little bit closer i see the pluging “hangs” on

    file: scr\Tribe\Main.php
    function: instance()
    line/code: self::$instance = new $className;

    Please help

  • Hi jopienl,

    Shoot, that’s no good!

    Do you have any calendar customizations in place that might have an impact here? For example, have you added any snippets to the functions.php file that might cause the plugin to hang up if the plugin is not active during the update?

    Does the same thing happen when trying to update the plugin manually?

    One last question: what version are you updating from? I’d like to try replicating that issue myself.

    Just to cover all our bases, will you please try deactivating all other plugins and activating a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Fifteen) before ire-attempting an update? I just want to make sure there isn’t a conflict there but, if so, where it is. We have a full outline of steps to help pinpoint that exactly.

    Thanks!
    Geoff
