Blank product pages after update to V2.5.0 – template naming issue

After upgrading to WC 2.5.0, our individual product pages were coming up blank. Everything else was working fine.
When I checked System Status, it said that I had an out of date template overriding WC.
However, what was actually happening is WC was looking everywhere in my theme, not just my woocommerce folder (which was blank) and it found an old template file I had created for products prior to using WC. This file – content-single-product.php – is the same name as the WC template file. As soon as I renamed it, products were again visible.
That file has been there for two years since we put in WC. Don’t know if V2.5.0 is meant to search the entire theme for files, instead of just the woocommerce folder, but it’s worth checking System Status to see if any of your theme files are being identified by WC as template overrides.
