• Okay, here’s my problem….
I installed WP on my site hosted by Glob@t a couple of days ago and everything was working fine. Then all of a sudden today I couldn’t get a login page when I tried to go to the login page. Luckily I had bookmarked the marklet to blog a site that I was currently on, so I clicked that and it would let me into the site so I could makes posts and stuff like that…. but then that stopped working to. All I get are blank pages with no code in them what so ever. So then I think “Why not just start over, delete the entries in the DB and delete directory that WP is installed in, and then reinstall it.” That didn’t work. I’m still getting blank pages with no code. As far as I know my host hasn’t changed any configs on the server so that shouldn’t be a problem…
Anybody have any ideas on what’s up with it?

  • I get the same. I registered okay, but on logging in, the address bar still says /wp-login.php
(When it all works again, just delete me from the blog)
That rules out cookie / cache issues. Can you email the host and ask if they have made any server changes at all ?

I just emailed my host but seeing as how its a sunday I doubt I’ll get a response before tomorrow sometime. In the mean time I’m gonna try to figure out how to make it work on my own I guess.

Figured out what was wrong with WP. Apparently there is a problem with one of the Plug-ins that I had activated. Now I’m going through the process of figuring out which plug-in is breaking the site and then I’ll post that here so people don’t have the same problem I had.

It was the Acronym Finder plugin. Whenever I activeate it my login pages stop working.

I’ve posted this to the hackers list.
Thanks for coming back with your solution !

I am having the same problem, but deleting all plug-ins doesn’t solve it.
I’ve seen many posts about this being a PHP5 issue, but also many posts saying the latest builds have fixed that issue. Latest builds have not fixed anything for me.
I’ve grown increasingly frustrated with this. I keep seeing that people shouldn’t expect WP to work well with PHP5 until 1.3, but then why do people keep saying the nightlies have fixed the issue?
    Gah…

Yah I have the exact same issue fresh out of install… drr!
