Blank page in editor – information on the actual page. Safe to update?

    Hi.

    I need some assistance with the aforementioned page. I haven’t made it, I’m just looking to assist the creator making this page editable again (and updated)

    When I try to edit pages, there’s nothing to edit and the editor is completely blank even though each page has lots of information when previewing it. The relevant pages I want to make editable is the front page and the ‘Kontakt’ page. Why aren’t they editable? Where does the front page-information come from, the Woocommerce plugin?

    The site is woefully out of date – the WordPress installation, the plugins, everything. Hopefully the fix is easy as updating things. Is this generally safe to update?

    Any general tips for updating this without breaking the setup?

    Hi @kaime, If you think the information is in WooCommerce, you may want to ask for guidance in the support forums for that plugin:

    If you are going to go ahead and update the site, I strongly recommend that you back everything up first before doing so, in case you will need to revert back. You can refer to this page for guidance:

    Anyone else have any idea if it’s okay to update an out of date site? I believe I cannot edit any pages currently because it’s out of date.

    This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    Otherwise, I’d say that yes it’s time to make a backup and upgrade everything.
