blank page after editing (6 posts)

Sorry to start a new topic for this small issue but the old topic where it was previously mentioned has been closed.
I'm getting a blank page when I hit "Save" after editing a post. The blank page takes a long time to load but the HTML in it is just (html)(body)(/body)(/html) (with pointy brackets of course). The posts are getting edited fine though. After checking comments made by others with a similar problem, I have removed blogrolling.com from my ping list and also disabled pingback, just to be double-sure. I still get the blank page. Not all the time, at first it never happened but yesterday and today it's happening all the time. I'm running WP1.2 beta and my browser is Firefox 0.8. My server is not being particularly slow today (main page loads quickly as usual). Could this be a bug?
If so, it's obviously not a killer, I just hit "back" on the browser and continue from there, but a fix would be nice to have.
    Any tips much appreciated.

It's still happening... consistently now. Anyone else got this problem or is it peculiar to my server / installation? (1.2 beta)

    same here!
I'm running WP 1.2 (mingus?) and firefox 0.8.
testing it with the IE 6.x showed the same problem.

OK, so the exact same version of WP (1.2 Mingus), powering another site on a different host, does not have this problem. Something host-dependent?

Check your errors.txt file. It's normally caused by a parse error in the PHP. Most browsers will display an empty page with just those tags if it recieves no information.
