    Hi,

I mentioned my issues in another thread, and was told to open my own.

Here are the details you guys requested in the Before You Post sticky:

    – WordPress up to date? YES
    – NextGEN up to date? YES
    – All plugins up to date? YES
    – Do you have a caching plugin installed? NO
    – Try disabling all browser extensions/plugins and clear browser cache and reload, does that help? TRIED, DID NOT HELP

    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.6+)? NO, it’s v5.5
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.6+)? YES
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? YES
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? YES

    – Who are you hosted with? SELF HOSTED
    – What theme are you running? CHOCOLAT
    – Have you tried checking for a plugin/theme conflict as outlined above^ ? YES, NO LUCK
    – Does the issue occur in all browsers IE/Firefox/Chrome/Safari ? YES (Chrome/FF/IE)

I installed the NextGEN Gallery plugin automatically through the Plugins browser. After I activate it, I see the Gallery (with green square) show up. When I click it I go to the Overview page, I see the Welcome message and the tabs (Welcome, More Videos, etc.), but they are all blank. The Gallery Settings and Other Options pages are completely blank as well. On the Add Gallery / Images page, Import from WordPress Media Library does nothing when I click it, and above that link it says “Your browser doesn’t have Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support.”

I have disabled all other plugins and switched to the default Twenty Sixteen theme. I tried Deactivating and then reactivating the NextGEN Gallery Plugin, but the issue remains.

I normally use Chrome, but have also tried this in FF and IE, with the same results.

    Your help is appreciated.

@salixsys – Please try our external Reset Tool plugin here: https://bitbucket.org/photocrati/nextgen-gallery-reset/get/default.zip

To install and activate, go to Plugins > Add New … Upload Plugin
To use, go to Tools > NextGEN Gallery Reset

We do not offer specific support for the Reset Tool plugin as is but it can help in many circumstances, please let us know if it does.

    Thanks!

    Hi Cais,

Thanks for the response. I tried the Reset Tool, but it doesn’t seem to have done anything. So I tried deactivating the NextGEN Gallery plugin and ran the Reset Tool again (this time it seemed to not even run – but I’m not certain). Then I reactivated the NextGEN Gallery plugin, and the problem still remains.

TBH, I didn’t expect the Reset Tool to do anything because I haven’t even used the NextGEN Gallery plugin yet. This issue has been there since I initially installed the plugin.

I took a few screenshots – not sure if they will help.

@salixsys – I suspect something in the server environment and/or the general installation of the NextGEN Gallery plugin but unfortunately those details are not available within the UI for you currently. Have you tried re-installing NextGEN Gallery (making sure that the previous installation is removed after deactivating and deleting the plugin from under Plugins > Installed Plugins)?

    Thanks!

@photocrati – I have tried everything short of installing a new instance of WordPress and installing the NextGEN Gallery plugin on it. While I think that may actually work, I would rather resolve the issue on my current site.

I do have full access to the host server, so if there ae ways of troubleshooting this from the back-end, please let me know.

    Thanks.

@salixsys – You could try re-installing WordPress in that instance via the administration pages. You might even look at deactivating, deleting and then re-installing and activating NextGEN Gallery as well. Otherwise, please send us a Bug Report (https://imagely.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a better look under the page at your site.

Please include as many details as you can about your site and the issue at hand so we can move on this as fast as possible.

    Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem with
NextGEN Gallery 2.1.62 and WP 4.7 and I did absolutely everything like it is made salixsys and Photocrati, but I could not achieve anything.

After all, I’ve tried the whole installation with the same settings and the same website but with WP 4.5 on the same server. Everything works OK.

I think NextGEN Gallery 2.1.62 and WP 4.7 they have a problem.

I was looking for a solution on the web but I did not find anything.
